Where I want to take my blog in 2019

Wow. 2018 is over and we are now in 2019, I’m pretty sure 2018 didn’t really happen because it felt like we went from pancake day to Christmas real quick. My Christmas and New Year was pretty quiet but I loved spending quality time with my family and making some memories although work took up a lot of my time. Working in retail over Christmas is hell.

I wanted to write a post to start off 2019 but didn’t really know what to title it and what I wanted to write about then I just thought I’d write about what’s been in my head for a while. Last year I really fell in and out of love with blogging. Some days I couldn’t wait to open my laptop and start writing but others I just needed a break and those breaks seemed to keep happening regularly.

I have honestly loved every second of blogging since I started even though I may have fallen out of love with it a little but that didn’t stop me working on my blog behind the scenes. Last year I worked with some amazing brands which I couldn’t have been more grateful to have worked with and grown my little blog which I’m super proud of.

SO. Where do I want to take my blog in 2019?

Maybe a rebrand? I’ve thought about this for a couple of weeks now and even though I know it will be a lot of work I’m considering it. I feel like to move on with my blog I’d like a new name and all new social media handles and they’re all different so I don’t feel like I have a brand, if that makes sense? it’s just a thought right now but I have been looking into it.

I feel like I’ve become more obsessed with making sure my posts are long enough and have at least two photo’s with the SEO having to be perfect but I want to keep things simple so if I feel like just writing a post and publishing that’s what I’m going to do, kind of like a diary entry.

I’d love to work with more brands this year, I have loved reaching out and contacting brands even though sometimes I don’t get a response. The brands I’ve worked with have been amazing and so lovely to work with. I want to try to put myself out there a bit more so wish me luck, guys.

I would love to try to stick with some sort of schedule. I know I’ve said this for the last year or so but I feel like I need to so I can keep organised and motivated so I’m going to sit down and work out how may times I want to post a week and the times. I’ll probably post on my Twitter with the outcome.

I just want to be able to take my blog to the next level either that be with a re-brand or just working on my posts and photo’s and making more of a schedule and posting regularly. Sorry if I’ve rambled a lot in this post but I just thought I’d put it out there because I want this blog to be a mix of my personal thoughts as well as the odd beauty review etc. Where do you want to take your blog this year?
