If there’s one bag you need for spring and summer, it’s a wicker or woven bag. Spring is the perfect time to accessorise your outfit with something a little more seasonal, like a straw bag. I was very late to the party last year and only ended buying one after the summer months so didn’t get a chance to use it although I did get it at a bargain price so I wasn’t too mad. I will definitely get the use out of it this year though as well as a few more that I’ll end up buying as I have found a few by writing up this post. Bye bye money.
Most straw bags are really affordable and not too pricey and natural wicker goes with anything and everything from jeans and a t-shirt to a summer dress, it’s honestly the perfect accessory.

I wasn’t a fan of these when they first became a trend and then I bought a jumpsuit which has milkmaid style arms and buttons down the front and I thought “I need a straw bag to complete this look” so when I visit the Primark in Birmingham on Friday, I’m going to add one to my bag collection. It’s a S/S essential to be honest AND very versatile, could double up as a beach bag on holiday or a mini picnic basket
