This post contains PR products from Pixi Beauty.
New products just landed at Pixi and it’s their Retinol and Jasmine collection! You may know I’m a pretty big fan of Pixi by now so as you can imagine I was very excited to ty these out for myself.
Retinol can be scary for someone like me to try with sensitive skin so I was a little hesitant to try the collection out. Retinol has always been at the top and the best skincare ingredient for collagen production, smoothing fine lines and blurring blemishes but I’ve always tended to stay away from it.
Although, the retinol range from Pixi is definitely one to consider if you want to start adding retinol into your skincare routine but haven’t used retinol before. It’s a great starting point.
A couple of the pieces from the collection have been available since last year but now Pixi have expanded the collection!
I’ve been adding these products into my skincare routine for about 6 weeks now which I know isn’t much time to see much of a difference as I know using retinol you normally need to use it for a good few months to see the benefit but here’s the lowdown on the collection and some of my thoughts..
Retinol jasmine cleanser
The Pixi cleansers have always been a favourite of mine and the retinol jasmine cleanser isn’t any different. A creamy moisturising cleanser enriched with retinol and jasmine oil and the scent smells like a dream. It goes on so gentle which I was quite surprised at with a retinol based product.
I actually loved that it was non-foam based as I have way too many of those. My skin feels so clean and soft after using but I would highly recommend this as a second cleanse. I think this cleanser is definitely up there as one of the best I’ve used!
Retinol Tonic
This retinol tonic has been available since 2019 so was one of the first products from the range to be launched but it was one I was so excited to get my hands on as I’m such a big fan of the original glow tonic.
Using this daily after cleansing in the morning but sometimes at night has been what my skin was missing. It has a nice fresh scent, not too strong and is a lot less drying than other tonics, it’s very nourishing and it’s everything my skin would want in a tonic with it’s multi action treatment with time release retinol.
It’s perfect even for those with sensitive skin just like me. I would very much recommend this one, definitely one of my favourite products Pixi have released!
Jasmine Oil Blend
The jasmine oil blend is a product to help skin recover from loss of moisture and dullness, it helps to calm and restore stressed and unbalanced skin so I found this perfect for me although it’s definitely made for all skin types. I think this oil is one that has made the biggest difference to my skin after only 6 weeks as my skin is always very dry, I’ve never really found THE product to help but this one does and it surprised me.
I apply every morning and night after cleansing and toning and it just adds that extra boost of hydration my skin has been needing and you can really smell the jasmine although I’m not too sure if I like how strong it is, it may be a little over powering for me.
Retinol Eye Cream
I’m forever on the lookout for a good eye cream and this retinol eye cream from Pixi containing caffeine to de-puff and energise is one to get excited about. It’s super nourishing and goes on really well although it does leave a little sticky residue which I’m not a fan of but that’s the only downside for me.
If your concerned about fine lines etc then this is a good eye cream to have in your collection! I’m excited to keep using it to if it helps smooth my under area although I have alternating uses between this and my Antipodes kiwi seed luminous eye cream as I don’t want to add retinol too quickly onto my eye area.
Retinol Jasmine Lotion
A lightweight and creamy daily moisturiser, that’s a great product to use at the end of your skincare routine. Even though it’s lightweight, it’s deeply moisturising which you can definitely feel when putting on. I love using this every morning although I’m in two minds wether it’s a little heavy for a morning moisturiser..
The retinol jasmine lotion is formulated with vitamin A and contains jasmine, sunflower oil and thyme extract to help smooth. I think it’s a great first step into retinol if you’re not too sure on the full collection. It’s a great first step product!
Overnight Retinol Oil
Another oil in the collection as well as the jasmine oil blend is the overnight retinol oil, this is the product I’ve heard a lot about and people seem to rave over. Only for use in the evening it helps smooth and even out skin tone and I think it may be my favourite product in the retinol range.
It helps to restore skin plumpness and improve the appearance of fine lines and pores while you sleep, it’s super lightweight and goes onto the skin fast so you don’t have to wait to fish your skincare routine. My skin has started to feel smoother the morning after and it’s one product I will keep using every night.

I have heard of the Pixi brand, heard some great things but never tried them before. I am always apprehensive about paying for a new skincare product in case my face doesn’t like it.

Yeah I get that, it’s always scary trying out new products but honestly Pixi have got a collection for every skin type and are always adding new one’s regularly. If you can maybe try getting a sample then you can see if it works for your skin 🙂
