This post contains gifted products and is in collaboration with Flexitol but all thoughts are my own.

Winter is well and truly upon us and I don’t know about you guys but my skin really suffers during this time. My skin has always been quite dry but after finishing chemotherapy it became super dry and I’ve not been able to find a product which really helps.
I’m forever changing up my skin care which I know isn’t the best thing to do but when you just want to try and find a product that works and that’s going to help I can’t help it. For the last couple of weeks or so I’ve been trying out some products from Flextitol and I want to share my thoughts with you guys.
I think sometimes we forget to take care of our skin especially hands and feet during the colder season but trust me it’s something we need to start doing more. Flexitol products haven’t got the prettiest packaging but they work. They actually work.
I’ll start with the first product that I tried out which was the Cuticle & Nail Cream. I have been neglecting my nails recently as i’m using fake nails more and more (I’m getting obsessed) and these ones from Primark aren’t helping so at the moment they aren’t the best, my nails keep breaking and are very weak but this product has helped bring my nails back to life.
The Cuticle & Nail Cream makes it easy to condition cuticles and smooth dry edges. It has a little brush applicator which I love, you simply just squeeze a little bit of cream out and apply on and around your nails with the brush. SUPER EASY! I’ve been putting this on everyday and my nails seem so much more healthily than they were before! The cream also promotes nail growth so I can’t wait to keep using it and see how it helps my nails and I’m sure I’ll be purchasing this over and over.

I’ve never really looked after my feet. I work in retail so I’m usually on my feel most of the day and I do moisture them (when I remember) but I’ve always got dry and cracked skin.
After a long day out my feet are terrible and I usually have to soak them in water and it’s always my heels that are the worst but I was so pleased when I noticed the Moisturising Foot Foam and Heel Balm from Flexitol. In the last couple of weeks I’ve been using them and they’ve kept my feet smooth and moisturised and I couldn’t be happier!

The Foot Foam was a little strange to use. I’ve never used a foam on my feet before so it felt a little weird but I honestly love the product. It says on the bottle you can feel improvement in just one day and I can say that I actually did feel a little improvement. I mean when I see a product that says you can see an improvement in such a short space of time I’m usually like NOOOOO it can’t work that quick haha.
I didn’t care for the smell of the product but honestly if it works then it doesn’t put me off that much. It left my feet feeling super smooth and it absorbed really quick which is a bonus if your busy as you don’t want to be sitting there waiting for a product to dry if you’ve got stuff to do. I now use this every night before I go to bed and would definitely recommend this to everyone.
The Heel Balm I was excited to try out as it’s the No.1 prescribed heel balm on the NHS. My heels are literally always dry and I’ve never found a product that helped, until now. After putting it on the first time I realised you don’t have to put a lot on as a little goes a LONG way and it’s not too greasy either. It does say on the carton for best results use twice daily but I’ve only been using it once and it’s been great for my skin.
It was really nourishing and effective after a long day. In the summer my heels usually get more sore and dry than usual probably because I wear flip flops more and when I go on holiday I get really self-conscious about my heels but hopefully by using this product will help smooth and refresh them during the season. I’m sure it will as I’m so impressed with how it’s worked just in the last couple of weeks.

What a lovely post! I definitely agree with youu here, we do seem to neglect ourselves during the colder months. We need to look after our feet as we are always on them so if they’re not protected then it starts to hurt. I love that these actually work, soo many times you buy a product but it just doesn’t work! Yes they’re not the prettiest packaging and might not get you to pick them up but after reading this I might just do that!

Ahhh, I’m so late replying to this but you’ve left such a lovely comment! I’m the worst at remembering to moisture etc. Exactly, I hate when you buy a product thinking it’s going to be good and it’s just disappointing but thankfully these aren’t. Thank you so much girl 💕 xo
My skin defo needs more love in the winter but for me it’s easier said than done (I’m lazy most days) but these are the exact products I need in my life!

It’s typical, isn’t it? You’re so focused on just staying warm, that staying hydrated can go to the sideway 🙂 Will have to try these products though, because as you say – it can be really hard to find the right product!
