Six years blogging. It doesn’t feel like six years whatsoever and it sounds crazy to me that it’s been that long but I couldn’t love my little place on the internet anymore even though this past few months I’ve been a little (a lot) absent from my blog. I really did lose motivation for blogging and instagram took over but every time I opened up to write my head went blank, I didn’t want to push content out when I wasn’t feeling it so I’ve been waiting for inspiration to strike and I think it’s coming back slowly, finally.
Even though I started off writing about cancer and all the stuff that comes with it, my blog has grown with me into different passions including lifestyle, beauty and a hint of fashion which I’m starting to love more and more. I think taking a break really has ignited the passion I have for blogging and I can’t wait to get back writing again.
Instagram really did take over my life for a while and even though I do love photography and content creation there’s nothing like having your own piece of the internet to share your thoughts on and have complete control over. I’m pretty sure my blog has only gone down once over the past six years and instagram.. well, I’ll just leave it there.
Having all the opportunities I’ve had come from blogging is crazy, to think of all the brands I’ve collaborated and grown with was just a dream years ago and now I can say I’ve worked with some of the biggest brands in the world. Six years ago I wouldn’t have even thought I could have collaborated with just one brand, that wasn’t my intention to start with at all, I just wanted a place to share my thoughts. It’s just insane how my blog has grown over the years with me and I couldn’t be anymore grateful for the opportunities I’ve had. Oh talking about dream brands, I have just confirmed two collaborations and I cannot wait to share with you soon! When I say dream brands I mean DREAM, like I don’t know how I landed them.
I don’t know how long I’ll be blogging for but as long as I’m enjoying it then nothing else matters.
