It’s been a little while since I did a catch up post so while I’m laying on the sofa under my very cosy throw with Friends on in the background feeling sorry for myself because I’m not too well I thought now would be the perfect time to give you all a little update on what I’ve been up to lately and how I’m feeling.
I’m pretty happy with my blog recently even though I’ve left it 12 days between my last post and this one but you may have noticed a big change on here that took me a while to sort out. I’ve had to change my theme but I am more than happy with my new one, completely obsessed actually. After the Pipdig drama unfolded I left it a couple of weeks to try and understand exactly what happened and decide what to do but eventually I decided that my site wasn’t safe with a Pipdig theme even though I did love it, I couldn’t risk it so I changed over to a brand new shiny one from Underline Designs. I hope you love it as much as I do.
Some days have been good others bad recently, if I’m being honest more bad than good but I’m not letting anything get me down. Even though I wake up some days just wanting to shut the world away, I can’t. I may struggle with anxiety and depression but I won’t let it take over my life. I’ve been spending a lot of my time procrastinating instead of getting things done and then panicking when they aren’t done. Is this just me?
In other news, I’ve been applying for jobs in digital marketing as that’s what I would love to go into, having my blog has made me really passionate about social media and marketing so I would love to be able to get a job in something I’m passionate about because retail just isn’t the life I want to be living.
I’m still very much into running and probably enjoying it even more than before. I have a race coming up at the end of May, it’s the Great Birmingham 10K and although the route doesn’t exactly look the greatest I’m very much looking forward to it. I should be running about 2-3 times a week which I am doing but with me being sick these last few days I haven’t been able to get out much, I may have to take my running gear on holiday with me but that’ll mean running on the beach which I am totally okay with. My goal is to beat my PB so I’m going to try my hardest to do it.
I’m excited for the next few weeks with going on holiday to Cornwall which is somewhere I love and just so many little things planned. I’ll hopefully have a blog post up all about my time in Cornwall but before that I have a few posts in the works which you will be seeing soon..
I’m now going to hide underneath my throw with a mug of lemsip and take a nap because isn’t that what you do when your ill?
You can find me over on instagram, why not have a little scroll while you’re there?

Ah! Thank you Fran! I was so hesitant to change it because of all the drama, you never know what’s going to happen but Mina from Underline Designs was super lovely and so helpful!
Omg. Cornwall is so beautiful! I’m sure you will have an amazing time.
