June. We’re not far from being in the middle of the year and that’s a scary thought. I’ve been really distant from my blog recently for no particular reason if I’m being honest. I’ve just been taking some time for me.
Even though I’ve been fairly distant from everything blog related, I feel like now is the right time for me to get back into writing and I just feel I’m back in the right headspace for it. I wanted something pretty simple to start back with and a little to do list sounded like the perfect post.
June is the month where I’m heading down south and taking a little break away to Cornwall which I’m so excited for. Going abroad is not an option for me health wise and just wouldn’t feel right even though I would love to get some Mediterranean sun but we booked this well over a year ago (near enough 2 now) and have had to postpone due to the pandemic. I know a lot of people will need a much needed break away this year and I’m very much counting down to mine.
Start making the most of the mornings | Lately I have been so bad with waking up later than normal and usually I like to get on with a lot in the morning, I just find I’m more productive and always lose motivation and become more tired as the day goes on so I just seem to nap or completely stop working about 4pm. Thats just my body saying nope you’ve done too much and I’m done, I really have to be careful and plan my days more sensibly now to make sure I can get lost of my work done in the morning before I lag so I’m planning on setting alarms for a few days a week to see if that helps.
Plan ideas for reels on instagram | I’ve always wanted to become more creative on instagram and I feel reels is the way to do it and connect with my followers more although it’s a lot more work than photo’s and takes so much more time which is why I want to try and plan a few ideas and then not rush in shooting them. At this point I only have 5 reels on my instagram account and honestly I feel disappointed in myself but they are hard work. A lot of people I know create them constantly and I honestly don’t know how they do it but I have noticed from tiktok they do help you grow so I’m going to try and see what happens.
Start to organise packing for Cornwall | I am one of those people that start to think about their trip a couple of weeks before, for example making sure my camera battery is charged up and getting the stuff ready I don’t normally use in daily life put in a bag all ready for when I’m packing. I also have lists for most things, I think it comes from forgetting my swimming costume once when going on holiday and from then on I’ve always wrote everything down to make sure I don’t forget anything. Thankfully going away in this country is a lot easier but I always like to be organised.
Update my jewellery collection | My style has changed quite drastically in the past year or so, I now only wear gold jewellery apart from my pandora bracelet. My style is a lot more minimal and I feel like my jewellery should match my style and wardrobe, I like to keep things cohesive. I have got my eye on a couple of brands including Mejuri but if anyone has any recommendations for minimal jewellery brands then please send them my way.
Have a social media clear out | One thing I love to do every few months is go through my followers and remove one’s who aren’t active and haven’t been for 6 months or more and those who I just don’t interact and vibe with anymore but I’ve been slacking with this and haven’t done it in a good while which is why it’s on my to-do list this month. I always find it helps my mental health and any sort of organisation is a good thing.
That’s my June to do list. What’s on yours?

Thank you so much! x
One goal of yours that I would love to try is making the most of my mornings again! I feel so sluggish at times and I really need to get my backside in gear and be more productive in the mornings! x

I definitely think throughout the month I’ve tried getting up earlier and it’s helped with my motivation throughout the day as I’ve had more time to complete things so I’d so go for it! x
