I recently went on a little shopping trip and treated myself to a few things so a haul post was inevitable. I did upload a picture to twitter but I thought I’d show you lovelies exactly what I brought and where I got everything from!
The first place where I went was Primark, I wasn’t really looking for anything but I can never come out of there empty handed so I picked up this geometric rose gold candle holder for £3.50. It went straight in my basket as I can’t resist anything rose gold haha. You can also take the candle out and replace it with something else although I do kinda like the candle!
I also picked by this rose gold storage basket for £5.00 and I’m so happy with it. I’ve been looking for something like this for ages and it’ll be so good to use in Instagram photo’s. I’m always looking out for cute things I can use in photo’s, it’s starting to become a problem.. I might even go back and get another as they are so useful too and for £5 you can’t really go wrong.
Oh, another thing I picked up in Primark was this large throw, its a light grey colour and was just £9. I didn’t exactly need ANOTHER throw as I have so many already but it was just so soft I couldn’t not pop it in my basket. TIP: A throw is always good to add texture into a photo too!
Next, I popped into Card Factory as I needed to get a few cards for a couple of birthdays and noticed they had a few quotes in frames and I saw this one – “The secret of being happy is simply being nice”. I absolutely love the saying and couldn’t resist buying it especially when it was only £2.99! I’m actually updating my room next week so I can’t wait to hang this up.
I then popped into Boots which is always a bad idea as I always spend wayyyyyy too much when I go in there. I can never just go in and get the stuff I need. This is where I spent the most money, who’s surprised? So the first thing I got was some glue on nails as my nails lately are the worst, I’m always breaking them at work and they take forever to grow.
I also got the Coco Loco coconut hair mask from Lee Stafford as my hair is so dry lately. I’ve heard great things about this so I decided to give it a go and I’m hoping it’ll help! I also got a 2 step eye kit from Yes To Cucumbers.. I have always had really bad dark circles around my eyes and nothing has seemed to help so I thought I would try this out, It wasn’t the cheapest product for a single use but we’ll see what happens.
I also picked up some makeup bits from Boots. The makeup counters always seem to draw me in haha. I needed a new eyebrow product but there’s so many on the market right now I really didn’t know what to go for. I didn’t want a massively expensive product so I just opted for a drugstore one. I decided upon the Rimmel Brow This Way in the colour dark brown. I got the brow styling gel, filling powder and sculpting kit and I can’t wait to try everything out.
The next thing I got was the illuminating touch foundation from Collection in the colour porcelain as I’m SO pale. I have the concealer and love it but I actually had never thought of buying the foundation that was until I read a few reviews from fellow bloggers. After reading their reviews I decided to purchase as the price of it is just £3.99 and for a foundation that’s such a great price, I really couldn’t say no. The last makeup product I brought was the NYX DUO illuminating powder and this was just one of those impulse purchases. I was on the way to pay and passed the stand and decided to swatch the powder on my hand which was probably a mistake.. After trying it out I couldn’t put it down, I’m excited to see how it looks.
On the way back to the car I popped into Clintons as I heard they were doing half price Yankee Candles and I couldn’t not take a look, unfortunately the one I wanted wasn’t in the sale so I didn’t get it but I picked up the cutest water bottle which says “salty air, mermaid hair”. I have needed a new water bottle for a while and this one was just perfect and was only £6.00.
On the way back home I also stopped at a retail park and went into Matalan as the homeware in there right now is just so so good. I was on the lookout for a pink cushion and spotted this one for £10.00. As I mentioned with the throw, cushions are also great to add texture to a photo.
The last stop was Dunelm for some fake flowers. I wanted something specific and couldn’t find them in cheaper shops so I thought I would treat myself to some from Dunelm and they weren’t the cheapest but I’m so happy with them and the best thing is they’ll live forever and wont ever die, yay!
I hope you liked this little haul & I’ll have another post up soon hopefully all about my time in New York!

I can’t decide what’s cuter: the water bottle or the grey throw (so my style)!! You had a good shopping session!! 😀

Haha, I’m glad you love them both! 💕
OMG I love that water bottle so much!! The collection concealer is the best ever! I wish it was easier to get in the states because that concealer changed my life!
The water bottle is the perfect size too ☺️ I couldn’t agree more, I LOVE the collection concealer and for the price it’s just the best! Oh that’s super annoying for you. It’s like we can’t get Sephora over here and that sucks.
I love the candle holder, it’s so pretty 🙂

Really enjoyed reading this post. I also got that rose gold candle as it’s so pretty and a throw from Primark, they are so soft and affordable 😊👍🏻 Please do more posts like this.
Thanks girl! I think they are both my favourite pieces from my haul haha 😍
I’ve never been into the Primark home section before, even though I have every intention to, and seeing your post has definitely convinced me! I’m also quite intrigued by the coco loco mask, I might have to check that out too! x
Amazing! love the candlestick holder – I also can#t resist anything Rose gold 🙂
Ugh, Primark is my kryptonite! So much good stuff there. Also the Collection foundations are great – I’m using the Naturally Matte one at the moment and it is such a great quality for the price. Gotta love a good shopping day xx
