This post contains gifted items from Pixi Beauty.
Having tried Pixi Beauty in the past and most recently their Vitamin C collection and loving them, I always get excited when receiving a new PR parcel through the post. I truly wasn’t expecting such a big package and if you watched my insta stories of me unboxing it you’ll get what I mean. Pixi really do send the best PR and I’m forever grateful to be on their list and for me this has to be possibly one of the best.
When I noticed they had sent the new Pixi Pretties collection I was so happy, I’d actually been looking at getting one of the palettes myself as I thought it was perfect for the autumn months. Pixi have actually collaborated with 5 beauty influencers to create the collection and every single product looks perfect and the packaging just screams Pixi all over.
Eye heart palette by Heart Defensor
This palette is the perfect one for this time of year. The colours are just so stunning and autumnal and go on to the eyelid really easily. I was very tempted to buy this before receiving the PR package because it is just my kind of palette. Normally if I buy a palette there’s normally one to two shades I won’t use but I just know I’ll be using every single one of these throughout the winter months.
The shades themselves are really pigmented and are so versatile, I’m sure they would compliment all skin tones. This is one eyeshadow palette I’ll be using every single day for sure.
Glow-y powder by From Head To Toe
When I saw highlighters were included in the package I was so excited, I’m kinda obsessed with them right now. There’s two in the collection, one called ‘Wednesdays’ which is a more pinky/purple shade and the other one called ‘Fetch’ which is more of a golden bronze one. The highlighters themselves are just so gorgeous, they have got to be up there with some of the best one’s I’ve tried.
The natural mineral powder reflects the light to brighten the skin and leave you with such a beautiful glow. I always apply to the top of my cheekbones, brow bones and top of my lip. Sometimes if I’m going for a more natural look I’ll just go with the cheekbones. It’s so easy to over do it with highlighter but I really do love these two shades.
Endless shade stick by From Head To Toe
The endless shade stick is basically an eyeshadow stick which was is the perfect shade for paring with the highlighters as its a bronze colour. The shade stick makes it super easy and quick to create a beautiful look that is also smudge proof!
It just adds that something extra to your eye look and I was worried it would wear off throughout the day but it was actually long wearing and lasted well. I liked how this applies really easily because I’m not usually good with eye products (eyeliner is my worst enemy). I found it worked well as a shadow and felt really nice on. It’s definitely something I’ll keep using but wether I’ll purchase myself I’m not too sure just yet.
The layers highlighting palette by Rachh Loves
Again, another highlighting product I was very excited to see. The shades are just beautiful. It’s a multi-use glow mix palette as you can use it a both a highlighter and eye shadow. The shades are so pigmented and are made that you can layer and create your own glow.
My favourites from the palette have to be ‘Clutch’ and ‘Lace’ as they are just my kind of shades but all of them are stunning. I think ‘Zipper’ and ‘Tee’ would go really well on the eye and make such a shine. This highlight palette really is at the top for me from the whole collection.
Lip icing by Chloe Morello
Spoiler: I have never tried anything like a lip icing so I was intrigued to know what it was like and I was actually quite impressed with the lip icing shades that Chloe had created. They are definitely something different but I like that you can use them on their own to add a little glow and shimmer or you can add them on top of lipstick.
The one I have tried out was the one called ‘Parfait’ and it really did add such a shimmer onto my lips. The lip icing definitely adds a 3D glimmer as Pixi describe it. I’m not too sure I’ll be purchasing myself when I do eventually use them up as I don’t know how much wear I’ll get out of them as I normally like to just use a lip balm for everyday use during the winter but for my first try using something like this I like it!
Eye & lip kit by Maryam Maquillage
I was already a fan of the liquid lipsticks from Pixi so was I noticed that Maryam had created a couple of eye & lip kits for day and night I was so obsessed. There’s one for a day look and then another for night. The night one really stood out to me first just because of the colour of the liquid shade, it’s perfect. The colour is just something I would normally wear and it dries so fast and is super hydrating.
The day one again is beautiful with the coral lipstick and the rose gold eye shadow it would make such stunning look together. I’m thinking Christmas party? You can apply the eye liquid by itself or over your own eye makeup as a topper and just blend in and it leaves your eye makeup sparkling.
Overall I think the Pixi Pretties collection really is beautiful and it all goes so well together. If you are looking to purchase anything from the collection I would totally recommend the Eye Heart palette and the Glow-y powders. Oh and of course the Layers highlighting palette.
