Antipodes Skincare.. A brand I had never heard of, up until a couple of weeks ago but now a staple in my skincare routine.
Antipodes are a skincare brand which originates from New Zealand and they pride themselves on being an innovative natural and organic brand, they believe only the best ingredients come from nature which they source from New Zealand, using the highest quality raw super fruit extracts. Oh and Antipodes are registered as completely cruelty and vegetarian/vegan free.
I wanted to share a few thoughts about the products I’ve been testing out over the past couple of weeks. My skin is sensitive and dry and these products have been such a saviour for my skin.
Baptise ultra hydrating water gel
I’m pretty sure the hydrating water gel was the one product the changed the game for my skin. I swear I have never known my skin so dry as it has been the past few weeks wether that’s because I’ve not been drinking as much water as I should be, I mean it’s probably a good factor but this cream is honestly one of the best for dry/sensitive skin I have come across.
It’s clinically proven to increase skin hydration by 52% after 24 hours, I wasn’t too sure about this but I did notice a difference maybe not after 24 hours but after a few days of putting it on morning and night. The fragrance of the water gel is SO lovely, basically a scent of fresh roses which is beautiful!
I love how much moisture this gel has given me back into my skin. It feels so refreshed and smooth. It felt so subtle and going onto my skin, super lightweight and absorbs reasonably quickly. It’s such a dream moisturiser for dry and dehydrated skin types.
Kiwi seed gold luminous eye cream
I have always had problems with my under eyes, wether that be dryness or dark circles so when I noticed Antipodes had included the kiwi seed gold luminous eye cream I was very excited to see wether it could make difference.
Every single eye cream I have previously tried I’ve never had a good reaction to, there’s always been something wrong and I’ve had to stop using them. I know that the under eye area is extremely sensitive but I’ve tried a lot of products and when I say a lot I mean it’s possibly about 30 so I was nervous to add another eye cream onto my skin after the previous years.
The kiwi luminous eye cream is a luxurious, illuminating eye cream with 23K gold flakes to impart a warm glow which includes vitamin c from New Zealand super fruit, kiwifruit helps moisturise and soften fine lines.
As soon as I put this eye cream on my under eye area if felt so smooth and dries really quickly into the skin. I was so surprised that I had no reaction at all, it just went on so well and using it for the past couple of weeks morning and night has just been a dream. One of the best eye creams I have ever used and can clearly see a difference to my under eye area.
Healthy lipsticks
As part of the package Antipodes sent they included a couple of their moisture-boost natural lipsticks so healthy you could almost eat them. The first thing that stood out for me was the packaging, I just love the black matte. I received the shades Forest Berry Red and Queenstown Hot Chocolate which are so gorgeous, definitely two colours I love.
I love everything about these lipsticks, the shades are just stunning and they are packed full of pigment which lasts most of the day. I’m so impressed by the formula which is packed full of nutrient-rich pure plant oils mean these lipsticks actually condition as they colour.
Antipodes are definitely a brand to try if you’re looking for something new.

I’ve been meaning to check out Antipodes for ages as I’ve heard really good things about the skincare range. I’m in desperate need of a good eye cream, so I’ll have to check out the kiwi seed eye cream, it sounds divine. Thanks for sharing x

Yeah. The range is so good especially for sensitive skin. The eye cream has got to be one of the best creams I’ve used! x
I never heard of the name of the brand and since I’m a sucker for red lipstick all I know is that I need to have one.
