It’s now officially Autumn. I honestly couldn’t be happier as it’s my favourite season! I just love everything that comes with the season, all the cosy jumpers, hot drinks and fluffy scarfs. I don’t know what it is about Autumn but it makes me so motivated and as I haven’t shared any goals blog or personal for a while so I thought with coming into a new season now would be the perfect time.
October, November & December are the BEST months of the year for me and I know everyone says it but I love when there’s so much happening. My birthday is in October and once that’s over it’s basically Christmas for me. SO, to say I’m excited for the next few months is an understatement.
Get back into running
I feel like I’ve really let myself down with not carrying on with running since I completed the Great Birmingham 10K. My fitness and health have suffered as I’ve not been exercising regularly, I’ve just not been making an effort at all but hopefully this is going to change. No, this WILL change. On Thursday I’m going to be an official member of a running club! I know, I can’t believe it either. I’m hoping this will motivate me to get back into running and sign up to more races.
Even though I struggled running my 10K a few months back I probably didn’t do enough training, so joining the running club will help when I do want to run some more races including some more 10k’s I have my eye on and maybe even a half marathon in the distant future, okay.. very distant future.
Go to a pumpkin patch
Last year I saw so many amazing photo’s at pumpkin patches and was so jealous. I obviously want to go to a pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin but while I’m there I may as well take a few photos, right?! It only make sense. Hopefully this year I can make some time to go to one.
Start driving lessons
If you didn’t see my tweet last Thursday I finally passed my theory test. It’s took me longer than I would have liked but it’s finally done and now I can get on with my driving lessons although about 4 years ago I was having lessons and actually had quite a few but had to stop when I was diagnosed with cancer. I don’t think I could have carried on with them during treatment so unfortunately I had to stop but now is the right time and I have already asked a driving instructor about availability so hopefully it shouldn’t be long until I start again.
Visit one new place
I haven’t been anywhere new in a while and it’s one of my favourite things to do, finding new places makes my heart happy. In a few weeks I’m going to London for a couple of days and planning on visiting a few new places while I’m there which I haven’t been to before but I just love little road trips to cute places so I definitely want to visit at least one new place in Autumn.
Save more money
I’m obsessed with saving money right now. In the past I’ve always been a spender, I will literally drop hundreds on new clothes without thinking about it but recently any spare money I’ve got, I have been putting away as with driving lessons, Christmas and I want to buy my own little car soon so it’s a big few months money wise. I’ve got myself a saving’s goal every month so let’s hope I can stick with it!
Confirm more collaborations
The only blog goal I have but it’s one I really want to make happen. I’ve worked with a few brands now and I really want to make the jump and make my blog something I’m extremely proud of, not that I’m not proud of it now but I just want to take it to the next level. I’m currently customizing a new media kit which I’ll be sending out very soon, I’m nervous as I’ve never reached out myself to brands before but more excited!
Go on more walks
I just love getting outdoors and with the weather getting colder I love to wrap up in a big scarf and fluffy hat and take long walks. I said this last year but hardly got out and about. I love going on public footpaths and seeing the beautiful surroundings so I’ll have to try and make some time this year to get out in the fresh air.
