When it comes to skincare Pixi Beauty are always at the top of my list and want to know why? It’s because their products work and I trust them. I do play it safe with new releases from other brands with my sensitive skin and it’s sometimes really difficult to trust brands I haven’t heard a lot about but I’ve been using Pixi products for a good while now and I know they work well with my skin.
Pixi Beauty have recently released a new Vitamin C collection featuring 5 products for a more radiant complexion and I thought I would give you a little rundown of what’s new in the collection!
Vitamin C Juice Cleanser
First up is the Vitamin C Juice Cleanser (£18.00), this a brightening antioxidant cleansing water but can easily be mistaken for a toner. The cleansing water contains ferulic acid and probiotics to help preserve and protect the skin. The scent of orange flower water really does come through and is such a nice smell.
I personally have been using this after removing my makeup in the evening, I do use an alternative cleanser first as this isn’t really aimed at removing makeup but this has really been a nice product to use after removing makeup as a first step to my evening skincare routine. It has a super handy pump on the top to make it easy to get the product onto a cotton pad and wipe across your face.
Vitamin C Tonic
I am such a fan of the original glow tonic so when I noticed there was a Vitamin C Tonic (£10.00) in the range I was very happy, I’m not sure this will grow as popular as the glow tonic but it’s a great toner.
The Vitamin C Tonic is great for all skin types and contains probiotics to help fortify the skin’s barrier while the willow bark and fruit extract gently exfoliate. It has a really strong citrus scent which is quite powerful so if you aren’t a fan of a strong scent this isn’t for you but I have been loving using it after cleansing my skin. It’s definitely one product I’ll be keeping in my skincare routine for a good while.

Vitamin C Serum
Pixi always seem to get the oils and serums spot on and the new Vitamin C Serum (£26.00) is no exception. Just like the glow collection, the Vitamin C range has a serum included as well! The serum contains ferulic acid and vitamin c of course which are proven to reduce the effects of sun damage and free radicals, helping to improve skin tone and create a smoother complexion.
I’ve been using this every night after cleansing and toning, just putting 2-3 drops all over my face and neck and have really found it’s helping brighten my skin. I’m sure it’s going to take some time to see the full effects but I am loving it so far and I think for me this is the best product in the range.
Vitamin C Lotion
The Vitamin C lotion (£24.00) reminded me a lot of the pHenomenal gel from the glow tonic collection which my skin loved. The vitamin c lotion comes in a yellow tube and has a potent antioxidant powder that helps promote healthy collagen production and is known to boost luminosity.
I’ve got to say it smells insane, more so than anything of the other products in the range. It’s very light on the skin and soaks in well so it doesn’t leave you with that sticky feeling which is a pet hate of mine. I have been using this daily and mainly in the mornings to give my skin that extra boost and I have to say this is definitely becoming a favourite of mine. I had a few patches of dry skin and this cleared them right up and my skin just feels silky smooth!

Vitamin C Caviar Balm
The final product from the Vitamin C collection is the Caviar Balm (£24.00) which Pixi describe as an encapsulated vitamin mask. You basically massage onto your face allowing encapsulated vitamins to melt into the skin and absorb. Just like the lotion this promotes collagen production and skin luminosity.
When my skin has been feeling dry lately I’ve put this on at night not using a lot each time, you really only need a tiny amount and wake up with brighter and super soft skin. It’s very hydrating so perfect if you have dry skin and smells really lovely. To be honest though I wouldn’t miss it if it wasn’t in the collection so it’s one product I could live without but it’s really nice to have that extra boost now and then.

Hey Samantha! The only product I used by Pixi was the glow tonic, which is something I purchase over and over again! I’m so happy I read your review about the Vitamin C collection because I’ve been extra curious👏🏾 I need to get my hands on the cleanser and lotion, Vitamin C makes the biggest difference in my skincare routine 🙌🏾

Hiii lovely! The glow tonic is just amazing isn’t it? and something I know I’ll be using for a good while. Vitamin C really is so good in skincare, I hope you love the cleanser and lotion! x
I have never used any Pixi products but I’ve heard great things about them so I think I’ll have to give a few of their products a try! I like the sound of the juice cleanser. Thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙂
I’d say they are one of the best skincare brands out there even though I am a little biased haha but they’re products really do work so well! The juice cleanser is amazing x
I’m so glad you got on well with this range. I love the toner and caviar balm but my skin can be a little funny with Vitamin C so I don’t get on the best with all of them. I love Pixi so much as a brand though!
