  • Discovering a new haircare brand | Design.ME Hair

I’m not one for having a serious hair care routine but I do like to keep my hair as healthy as possible as it’s growing quite fast now I’m finding it harder to keep under control but I’m not complaining, I can’t wait for it to be the length it was before. The lovely people over at Sparkle PR sent me over some products to test out from Design.ME.

The brand comes from North America but has recently landed over here in the UK on Sally Beauty and I couldn’t have been more excited to try these products out.

I’ve got to say one of my favourite things about this brand is that they are cruelty and vegan free but not only that, their products are actually paraben and sulphate free as well which is amazing!

I just want to touch on how pretty their packaging is. I mean the pastel colours are just perfect and they just make the brand stand out just that little more. If I was shopping I’d definelty be more inclined to pick these up just because of the packaging. I love how each product has its own pastel colour, it’s just so cute.

When I first picked this little mist up I actually thought they had forgotten to add the product because it’s just so light but I was so wrong. Basically it’s a lightweight powder that is supposed to add volume to your hair. As I have quite thick hair it always seems to be flat as well which I have never been able to find a product which gives me a lot more volume to my hair.

There there are actually two versions of the Puff.ME, one for thick hair and another for fine to medium hair. I was so happy when I saw that had sent me the one for thick hair as I’m not sure the Puff.ME light would have done much. You would normally spray this 2-4 inches away from the roots of your hair, oh and it comes out in a cloud mist which I actually love and it doesn’t leave any residue either which i was a little worried about.

SOOO, after using this for the last couple of weeks I can say I am noticing a little difference, I mean nothing major but my hair definitely seems to have a bit more volume to it so this product is a winner from me. Oh and it’s also great to add to curls for just some extra volume.

Now, Powderdry.ME is a mist that claims to shorten the time it takes for you to blow dry your hair. I’m all for a product that can shorten the time it takes for me to dry me hair as it’s one thing that I hate doing, it just takes too long. I’m the worst at drying my hair for 3 minutes then checking social media.. THE WORST. It’s the one product I was most interested in, but I really didn’t know if it would reduce the time by 50%, I mean it’s a big claim.

According to the website “the mist forms a layer around the hair fibers providing better alignment of the fibers thus preventing entrapment of water molecules due to tangling. The fast drying process is further enhanced by the product ability to cause excess water to “bead”out instead of soak into the hair. Consequently, excess water is easier and faster to be removed.”

I’ve been using this now for a couple of weeks, I just spritz the products from my roots to the tips of my hair after every hair wash and even though I haven’t timed exactly how long it takes to dry my hair using the product I can definitely tell it take less time than normal. Anything that gives me more time in bed in the morning can have a place in my hair care routine.

Now this product claims to be an 18 in 1 treatment for your hair and that’s a big statement to make. Fab.ME is one product is was very intrigued to try! It’s supposed to breathe life back into your hair with just a spritz. As I’ve only been trying these out for a couple of weeks I don’t think I’ve been using it long enough to see the full effect but I can say that my hair feels a lot smoother and softer since using it, you just spray onto damp hair and comb through and watch the treatment work.

I think anything that’s going to save me money as I’m always buying different hair care items to help with my hair is good with me. Fab.ME is one product I can’t wait to keep testing out to see how it helps my hair.

The last product I want to talk to you guys about is the Hold.ME hairspray. I’m not one to use hairspray everyday as I don’t need to but when I go out I do just normally spray some over my hair to make it stay in place. The Hold.ME hairspray isn’t just a one-trick pony, it’s so unique in a way that it gives you three levels of support. Whattttt.

With just a little twist you can modify the level of hold from light, medium to high which I think is genius and have never seen anything like it before by any other brand. As I said above I don’t use it a lot of hairspray but I have been trying the light hold and it just leaves my hair with a little support which I love. It’s not too much. I’m excited to see how the medium and high levels so as we head into party season for Christmas.

Overall I’m really loving these products from Design.ME. Have you tried anything from their range?

Ah these hair care products sound amazing. I love the pastel packaging aswell, how cute!

I like the sound of the Puff.ME. I always struggle to find products that give my hair volume without weighing it down, so this sounds perfect.

What a lovely brand to be introduced too.
