It’s officially less than two weeks until Christmas Day which is exciting but very scary at the same time for me as I’m only halfway through my Christmas shopping and feel very unorganised.
Christmas is such a wonderful time of year but it can soon pass you by in a whirl of shopping, wrapping and festive parties. Sometimes it’s much nicer to slow things down and make time for things you enjoy with people you love.
I absolutely love the festive season so I thought I’d share 10 things you could do this Christmas..
Get cosy and watch a classic Christmas film | I don’t think there’s anything better when it’s freezing cold outside and you can get all cosy and put on Home Alone or Miracle on 34th Street. Oh and remember there’s always Christmas films on T.V if you want to watch something different to the classics.
Finish wrapping presents | If you are more organised than me who hasn’t wrappped even one present yet then maybe you could finish wrapping all your Christmas presents. I have brown wrapping paper this year and I honestly love adding the little touches including some ribbon and little bells. It really gets me in the festive mood so I should probably wrap some..
Drive around and look at Christmas lights | Something I love to see is all the pretty Christmas decorations in and around my neighbourhood, and it’s free to do (bonus). It will obviously make you feel a little more festive.
Do some baking | Why not spend an afternoon baking cookies or practicing some baking for Christmas day? There’s nothing better than eating something that’s been homemade.
Treat yourself | I always seem to see so much stuff for myself when I go Christmas shopping and normally write a little wish list for myself because sometimes you just need to treat yourself. I always seem to buy pyjamas or something cosy!

Send cards to friends and family | Receiving a card throughout the holiday season is always so lovely. It means someone has thought of you and it always makes me smile receiving Christmas cards. Oh, but don’t feel like you have to buy cards from a store, homemade cards are just as good or better because they are more personal.
Give back and donate | This time of year is always a good time to donate food, clothing or buy for a family that can’t afford presents. Volunteering some of your time will always be appreciated as well! The holidays can be a really hard time for people struggling.
Spend time with the people that you love | Spending quality time with your friends and family is really what the festive season is about and makes it so magical, you will make memories that you remember & cherish for the rest of your life. Just helping your mom put up the Christmas decorations or spending time with your brother or sister. It’s sometimes the little things that matter the most.
Go for a winter walk | I absolutely love wrapping up warm under loads of layers and going for a walk, there’s just nothing like it. It clears your mind and you could even get some cute photo’s for the season.
Visit a Christmas market | Christmas markets are amazing to go to around the festive season. I mean all the food.. I can’t say anything more. Having a browse around all the cute little stalls and then eating all the food and drinking a hot chocolate with loads of cream. Christmas markets are one of my most favourite things to do around Christmas.
What’s your favourite thing to do around the festive season?

You’ve got a few of my favourites on here, and a lot of these are things you can do with loved ones too, such as going on a walk or baking. I want to do some Christmas baking this weekend- it really gets me in the mood! XX
